“tells a fascinating and complex story very well”
We’re incredibly excited to be part of the amazing Newport Beach Film Festival in Orange County. Thanks to all who have organized and made this happen.
Very exicted for the 90-min version of the film to broadcast across the UK, and subsequently on iPlayer
We’re delighted to bring the film home! The Jazz Ambassadors will screen on May 4th as part of the Harlem International Film Festival, a perfect venue for a film that draws so heavily on the heritage and intellectual life of Harlem.
We’re thrilled to participate in the 2018 History Film Forum, which is hosting a screening at the Warner Bros Theater in the Smithsonian Museum of American History to celebrate International Jazz Day on Monday April 30th in Washington DC. We’ve got lots of our supporters coming to see the finished film, including the NEH, which provided invaluable support in making this project a reality.
Original Radio Interview broadcast on BBC World Service Newshour and BBC Radio 4 The World Tonight in early April, 2018. Interview by James Coomarasamy, Produced by Michaela Graichen and Video Edited Martin Vennard. Thanks to all!
A lovely interview by student journalist Carson Welch about the process of making The Jazz Ambassadors, and Director Hugo Berkeley’s version of film studies while at college.
